PERFORMANCE

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Camille received her B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Minor in English from Southern Methodist University at the esteemed Meadows School of the Arts, with academic honors. She studied at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Dance in London, selected by English National Ballet and Rambert Ballet alum Gary Lambert for movement research.

She has worked with teachers and choreographers from Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Urban Bush Women, Dance Theatre of Harlem, José Limón, Martha Graham, New York City Ballet, and Alvin Ailey. She has performed works by Martha Graham, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Shen Wei, Robert Battle, Christopher Huggins, and Bill T. Jones.

She’s worked with Ad Deum Contemporary Dance Company directed by Randall Flinn, performing works by Randall Flinn, Durell Comedy, Steve Rooks, and Vincent Hardy. She’s guested with Chadash Contemporary Dance Movement. Sutton currently dances with Zion Dance Project and directs Zion’s 2nd Company in Dallas, TX.

SEALED - Zion Dance Project Summer Concert Series ‘19

Alongside an international cast of 75 dancers, Sutton performed as principal artist in Zion Dance Project Summer Series Concerts in July 2019. She also served as Summer Intensive Facilitator and Rehearsal Director for the summer attendees.
